How This Website Came to Be

Welcome to Luoshen’s personal website. This is its first blog post, about how it was born.

Starting from an award materials PDF

Everything began with a 50-page PDF of award materials — an SCI acceptance letter, competition certificates, BIM certifications, social-practice reports.

I went through those materials and, together with my AI assistant Luo Sheng, turned them into the site you’re reading now.

Why “Luoshen” and “Luo Sheng”

“Luoshen” is my name. My AI assistant is called “Luo Sheng” — a quick pronunciation of “luosheng” (peanut) in Chinese. “One look, and you know he’s my little brother.” It’s the name generations of my AI assistants have been given.

This site uses no fancy templates — just Morandi colors, Apple-style whitespace, and a touch of Van Gogh’s soft gradients. That’s my taste in design, made real with Luo Sheng’s help.
